  • GRAPES:

    100% Montepulciano

  • PRODUCTION AREA:

    Loreto Aprutino, Pescara province, at about 25km from the sea side. The vineyards
    producing grapes for this wine are pretty old and located at over 350m a.s.l.. The old vineyards produce a very low quantity of fruit and the grapes obtained are particularly suitable for ageing

  • ALCHOLIC FERMENTATION:

    Long skin contact in steel tanks at the temperature of 28°C

  • MATURING/REFINING:

    Initially in steel tanks. Then 18 months in the French oak (barrique) followed by a long
    period settling in the bottle

  • ALCOHOL:

    13,5%

  • COLOUR:

    Deep ruby red with garnet glares.

  • BOUQUET:

    Complex, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, cinnamon, cloves, chocolate, vanilla and liquorice.

  • FLAVOUR:

    Full bodies and elegant. Persistent and well-balanced.

  • SERVING TEMPERATURE:

    20° – 22°C

  • BEST WITH:

    Any kind of red meat, game, aged cheese.
